Salsa verde recipe 

Ingredients:

  • 3 Tomatillos
  • 2 Jalapeños peppers
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/2 cup cilantro
  • Lime juice


Instructions:

  1. In a baking sheet put tomatillos, jalapeños, onion,garlic
  2. Add salt, pepper and olive oil .
  3. Broil for about 5 minutes or until golden brown
  4. Let them cool for about ten minutes and place in blender.

(Be careful when blending hot foods.)

  1. add the cumin, cilantro and lime juice
  2. Blend until smooth and enjoy immediately, or place it in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, until ready to eat.
  3. Eat with your favorite tacos, enchiladas, or with a delicious tortilla chips
